Sign up for CMX Free Trial

  1. Select Register/ Join a class
  2. Select I’m an Educator
  3. Navigate to the upper left corner and select Get a 10 Day Free Trial Link
  4. Enter user information
  5. Select Enable CMX
  6. Agree to the Terms of Service
  7. You will receive an activation email
  8. Activate your account via the email
  9. Begin using CMX!
 

 

How do I login?

  1. Type your username into the username box
  2. Type your password into the password box
  3. Select Login
 

 

How do I search for resources?

There are numerous ways to find resources within the Curriculum Matrix.

  1. Try searching using a key word like “Algebra”, “Fractions”, or “Pi” and see what resource tiles appear.
  2. Or select the My Tools link
  3. Select Browse
  4. You will have the option to browse by standards, Content, or Concepts
 

 

How do I Browse by Standards?

  1. Select My tools link at the top of the page
  2. Choose Browse
  3. On the Standards tab, select a standard, such as: California Standards
  4. Select a subject, such as: Mathematics
  5. Select a grade, such as: Sixth
  6. Select Search
  7. Find a standard
  8. Select Correlations
  9. Select Aligned Content
  10. Find a resource
  11. When you select the Options button you can: Save the resource to a collection, share it with a teacher, leave a comment and more!
 

How do I Browse by Content?

  1. Select My tools link at the top of the page
  2. Choose Browse
  3. On the Content  select a filter for example: Content Type
  4. Narrow your search by choosing a type from the dropdown list for example: Interactive Resource
  5. Click Search
  6. When you select the Options button you can: Save the resource to a collection, share it with a teacher, leave a comment and more!
 

 

How do I Browse by Concepts?

  1. Select My tools link at the top of the page
  2. Choose Browse
  3. On the Concepts tab, select a concept, such as Science
  4. Select a sub category for example Physics
  5. This will take you to a page of resources
  6. When you select the Options button you can: Save the resource to a collection, share it with a teacher, leave a comment and more!
